Enhancing Accessibility to Food Security Services via Books+ Express
The ASF & Cardwatch Food Bank Partnership Program aims to revolutionize food security services, focusing on aiding disabled individuals, seniors, and the infirm. Leveraging the Cardwatch software platform, this initiative will integrate with the existing Books+ Express program run by municipal libraries, extending its reach to offer Food Bank delivery services. With the help of the existing Books+ Express volunteer network, citizens with accessibility needs will be able to schedule their food bank orders online using Cardwatch and have it delivered to them at home. ASF will provide the logistical support for food bank partners, volunteer training, and manage stakeholder relations for all parties involved.
